We believe that the accumulated self-aware actions of each person working at Kaneta Kogyo helps to earn the trust of customers and society, and we have compiled all of our endeavors in relationships with customers and society in the “Our Principles: The CSR Promotion Handbook”, which we share with everyone working in the company.
Each individual employee following the law, the rules of society, and the rules of the company helps to protect the company and increase its value.
Therefore, in order to be a company that continues to meet the expectations of our customers and society, and that improves the lives of its employees and their families, we have posted our principles here as a pledge to all of our employees.

Our Principles

1. Society and I

1. Traffic Safety
As an employee of Kaneta Kogyo, I will strive to follow traffic rules and manners and to drive safely.
2. Environmental Protection
As an employee of Kaneta Kogyo, I will strive to save resources and energy, to recycle, and to reduce my environmental burden in accordance with laws, company policies, and company standards on environmental protection when conducting business.
3. Corporate Social Responsibility
As an employee of Kaneta Kogyo, I will understand Kaneta Kogyo’s corporate social responsibility and fulfill the role that is expected of me within the society.

2. The Customer and I

1. Product & Service Quality
As an employee of Kaneta Kogyo, I will comply in good faith with standards and procedures, giving highest priority to the quality and safety of products and services.

3. Business Partners and I

1. Fair and Sound Transactions
As an employee of Kaneta Kogyo, I will comply with the following rules in order to maintain fair and sound transactions with business partners.
1.1. I will properly choose business partners according to the policies and procedures of the company. I will also comply with laws (subcontracting law, etc.) and company rules relating to transactions.
1.2. I will not take from or give to business partners any benefits including money, goods, or entertainment that goes beyond social norms. I will not use my position or authority to take from or give to stakeholders any undue conveniences.

1. Communication in the workplace
As an employee of Kaneta Kogyo, I will strive towards smooth communication in the workplace so that I can work in harmony with other employees.
2. Respect for human rights
As an employee of Kaneta Kogyo, I will not commit any form of harassment or unfair discrimination in the workplace.
3. Health and safety
As an employee of Kaneta Kogyo, I will comply with health and safety laws and company policies and strive to maintain a safe and healthy workplace and to prevent or stop the spread of disasters.

1. Information Management
As an employee of Kaneta Kogyo, I will strive to handle company information, business partner information, and personal information of our customers properly according to laws and company rules.
2. Conflicts of Interest
As an employee of Kaneta Kogyo, I will not act in the interests of myself, business partners, or third parties against the interest of the company.

6. Compliance and response when violations are discovered

1. Compliance and Ethics
As an employee of Kaneta Kogyo, I will comply with laws and company rules, and act ethically in accordance with common sense and wisdom of society.
2. Response when violations are discovered
As an employee of Kaneta Kogyo, if I discover acts that violate laws or company rules or acts that may violate them, I will report, propose, and consult with the manager of my department or the “Corporate Ethics Improvement Proposal Office”.

  1. As a top-level manufacturer specialized in the manufacture and sale of shaft products for cars, motorcycles, and general purpose equipment, Kaneta Kogyo provides reliable products that are high quality, at fair prices, just-in-time, with the goal of always improving customer satisfaction.
  2. We will continuously improve product quality and eliminate defects by operating our quality management system.
  3. We will secure resources necessary for the operation of our quality management system.

Environmental Policy

  1. As a top-level manufacturer specialized in the manufacture and sale of shaft products for cars, motorcycles, and general purpose equipment, Kaneta Kogyo provides reliable products that are high quality, at fair prices, just-in-time, with the goal of always improving customer satisfaction.
  2. As a member of a society faced with the issue of conserving the global environment, we will work actively to contribute to our society through all corporate activities and strive to continuously make improvements and prevent pollution as much as possible from an economic perspective.

The following principles set environmental goals and targets for us to conduct improvement activities in our day to day production activities.
 
1) Environmental Protection
We will strive to protect the environment by further reducing our environmental burden, such as by saving resources and energy in our production activities.
2) Recycling
We will promote the reduction and proper disposal and recycling of waste generated in our production activities.
3) Life Cycle
We will provide products with a low environmental burden, taking into consideration materials purchases, production, shipment, and disposal.
4) Laws and Regulations
We will comply with environmental laws, regulations, and other requirements.
5) Continuous Improvement
We will work to continuously improve our environmental management system through regular internal audits and management reviews.
6) Communication
In addition to educating employees, we will ask business partners to understand and cooperate with environmental activities.

This environmental policy will be posted and maintained in such a state that everyone who works at or for our company will be aware of it and can conduct business based on it, and it can be disclosed to the general public.
